Got it! By using coupons I made an additional $3 off this deal which is awesome to walk away with a bag of stuff and actually make money!
I realize that it's already thursday but at least there are still a few days left to get in on this deal so I figured eventhough I'm late with it it's still worth posting.
There are severla items this week at Walgreens that end up free after the rebate. You can submit your rebates easily online and if you opt for a walgreens gift card you even get an extra 10% back. You can also combine Walgreens rebates with coupons, you still get the full rebate amount back so by doing taht you make money off it. This week you can get L'Oreal cleanser (cream or gel or towelettes) for $6.99 with a $6.99 rebate - there was a $1 coupon for this recently in the sunday paper. Rimmel lasting finish foundation is $7.49 with a $7.49 rebate - there was a $1 coupon for this in recent sunday paper also. They also have Extreme Energy 6hour shot for $3.99 with a $3.99 rebate. They have one other deal that I think is worth mentioning; You can buy a Gilette Fusion Rzor (manual or power) for $8.99 and then the register will spit out a coupon for $4 off your next walgreens purchase (I always buy these things first and then pay for my other stuff using that coupon right away), there was an additional $4 off coupon for this in sundays paper so it ends up being just $.99
