Free cat food from Meow Mix. I think it's just a one meal sample but that's still good. I'm actually starting to run out of cat food which kind of sucks as it's been since the recall last year that I haven't actually had to buy any. Oh well, at least there is no more problem, I hate to think about all the poor pets that were harmed last year.

Expired - Free Oatmeal Crisp cereal

Free cereal sample, I like cereal samples as they make good snacks for the kids if I don't want to try them. The bad part about actually eating them is that a mini box of cereal is never enough to actually fill me up so I try to wait until I have two boxes before I try them out, the good news is that usually when a new cereal comes out several places offer samples of them so it's not too hard to accomplish.

I know a lot of you have kids in diapers or will have them soon, getting these for free saves big bucks. I know that when you just get one it doesn't seem like ahuge saving but I must have gotton about 2 dozen free so far whcih is a big deal.

This is the 2nd friday in July each year. If you dress up as a cow you get a free meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner), if you are in partial cow attire then you get a free entree. Some are stricter than others. This is so easy as it's summer and you don't have to wear a lot, last year we put large t-shirts on inside out so they were white and stuck brown construction paper spots on, then we tied a piece of string to our belt looop in the back for a tail and attached brown triangles to hairbands for the ears, Ta-da instant cow.
