Well it's that time of year when every spare moment is spent, decorating, cleaning, shopping, wrapping, cooking, and spending some joyous moments with family....sadly in case you hadn't noticed that means that my search for freebies gets a little neglected. I do apologize for this although I do not regret it as I love to see my children all excited about Christmas. This next week probably won't be a whole lot better as we'll be spending time with family. I will get back on track searching for deals as soon as the holiday chaos dies down. Got it! Between 2 different Taco Bells we got 7 Taco's, added a bag of rice that was a freebie back in June and added a can of beans for a nice cheap dinner.
One crunchy beef taco free. Between 2pm and 6pm, one per person!

You might have to dig a little but a great time to pick up some summer clothes for next year. I bought my daughter some cute summer Pj's for $1.99 for next year, and a nice tank top for $.99.

My local staples even has a bin right past the register to donate items to students in need so you can drop off whatever you don't need right away. I thought that was pretty cool.
You have to actually go to Staples to benefit from this!

The bad part about actually eating them is that a mini box of cereal is never enough to actually fill me up so I try to wait until I have two boxes before I try them out, the good news is that usually when a new cereal comes out several places offer samples of them so it's not too hard to accomplish.

Free Redbox movie rentals

The people behind me at redbox movie rental machines always seem somewhat flabbergasted when I pass a code on to them for a free rental which surprises me as I've only paid for one rental so far out of about a dozen. So here's how it works...each code can be used once for each credit card so if you have multiple cards you can use the same code for each of them which just means you need to keep track of which ones you use on which credit cards. Some codes are location specific so only work at McDonalds or Albertsons for example so if you try a code that doesn't work just try another code.
I'll try to update this more regularly as they do expire.

An incredible week for me...In the mail I received a huggies diaper, a sample of huggies body wash and a lotion, a small bottle of Gilette face and body wash, samples of John Frieda shampoo, conditioner and serum, a small box of Fiber One cereal and a small Dove deodorant, I also received a couple of Seventeen magazines and a Star magazine. On rebate I "bought" 2 packages of pads, 2 bottles of Listerine mouthwash, 2 bottles of Ibuprofen, 2 Oral B toothbrushes, and 2 tubes of Nexcare lip treatment. I used up coupons for 3 free meals at Chick-Fil-A and a coupon for a free bottle of Nature Made vitamins. I received a couple of freebie handout childrens toothbrushes, kids bracelets and travel size container of band-aids, to close out the week my sunday paper came with a sample of Crest glide dental floss.

What did you get this week?
A very sweet week for me, lots of big stuff. On rebate I "bought" 2 bags of Hershey's Bliss chocolates, 2 Colgate 360 toothbrushes, 2 Oral B toothbrushes, and 2 packages of wipes. In the mail I received a small tube of Aquafresh toothpast, 2 Hallmark greeting cards, a Schick Titanium razor, a small tube of Vaseline lotion, a Parents magazine and a Star magazine. Via e-mail I received my $5 Kohls discount (new sandals for me) and my Blockbuster free rental coupon (we just picked up American Gangster for tonight). Nice way to close out the month with so much good stuff. I was just looking back at what all I had gotton this month - what's up with all the toothbrushes, I thought february was tooth awareness month, not that I'm complaining!

OK, so I'm a little slow this week... I received my 3 paint samples from FreshAire, a sample of Xcid antacid, a sample of Gold Bond ultimate restoring lotion, a sample of Maybelline mineral powder foundation, a sample bag of Meow Mix wholesome goodness cat food,a Parents magazine, a Star magazine, a Redbook magazine and a Glamour magazine and sunday's paper came with a free Brawny premium performance paper towel. I used a stack of coupons this week at Costco so saved roughly $20 there too which was nice. On top of that I traded in some coupons at Chick-Fil-A for a couple of free meals. Pretty slow week but that's ok.

What did you get this week?
Only a few freebies this week but nice ones...Star magazine, Good Housekeeping magazine, Popular Mechanics magazine, a Huggies overnite sleep short, L'oreal Skin genesis serum, a couple of Kotex Pantiliners, a Glade scented oil candle and refill and two bags of Corazonas chips and a heart charm. I also visited Chick-Fil-A and used 3 coupons for free breakfast. At the grocery store I used a couple of my own bags and got my $.10 back on that plus I saved another $11.25 just using coupons this week on stuff I was getting anyway.

Another week full of fun stuff. In the mail I received a bag of Feline Greenies cat treats, a Glad Force Flex trash bag, a tube of Dove Cream Oil body lotion and a Glamour magazine. On rebate I bought 2 tubes of Aquafresh advanced clean toothpaste, 2 Colgate toothbrushes and a Jane Blush and Brush. I managed to pick up a $20 mall gift card at a Grand opening of a new mall - now I just need a little time to myself to go spend it, I won a couple of books (self-help kind) in a drawing, and after attending a childrens fair I now have a handfull of trinket toys, a couple of t-shirts and about a dozen kids toothbrushes (I guess I'm good for the rest of the year).

What did you get this week?
An awesome week for me...sample bottles of Nexus moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, Chocolate turtle Chex mix, Jergens natural glow moisturizer, sample bottle of Selsun blue shampoo, Tide with dawn scrubbers laundry detergent, Purina healthful life cat food, Parents magazine, Glamour magazine and Star magazine (that subscription kicked in fast). For rebate items I picked up 2 boxes of Rite-Aid panti-liners, A bottle of Salon Selectives shampoo and a conditioner, a bottle of Skin Appetit moisturizer and a night serum, 2 bags of Hershey's Bliss chocolates and a Bic soleil razor. On top of all that I turned in a coupon for a free Campbells soup at hand, one for a free bag of Purina Healthful life cat food and one for a free bottle of Red Soda. Just to make the week a little sweeter I got a free Russel Stover Chocolate easter bunny as it scanned in at a different price that the shelf displayed so King Soopers will apparently give it to you for free at that point, I shopped with my own bag so they gave me the $.05 for that and my sunday paper came with a sample of Bare Naked granola. I am very happy with the turn out of this week.

What did you get this week?
Great week for me, not so much for my mailman...I received the Clean Home Journal spring cleaning pack; 4 assorted size ziplock bags, a pledge multi-surface wipe, and 1 huge ziplock storage bag, I also got a small tube of Aquafresh advanced toothpaste, two Curel lifestages lotions, a packet of FiberOne cereal, a sample of garlic oil and nuggets from Garlic Gold and a sample of Garnier Nutritioniste wrinkle cream. In addition I got a Schick Quattro titanium razor and a trimmer for hubby (free after rebate) and I picked up free breakfast at Chick-fil-a this week too. Oh, I forgot to mention a 3-pack of Olay soap and a 3-pack of Zest soap that I got last week so I'll add them this week. What did you get this week?
There wasn't much stuff worthy for me to post this week but on the receiving end it was great; in the mail I got a sample of Sunsilk Hydra TLC shampoo/conditioner/creme, a sample of Head and shoulders dry scalp shampoo and conditioner, a Tide 2x Ultra w/ dawn scrubbers laundry detergent, 2 Parents magazines (that subscription just kicked in), a Glamour magazine, and a Popular mechanics magazine. I picked up a free Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich and a bunch of free after rebate items: 2 bottles of Nature's made Vitamins, 2 tubes of Colgate advanced clean toothpaste, 2 bottles of Garnier moisturizer, a pack of Pledge multi-surface wipes, a 3-pack of Gilette Mach 3 razors, and a Gilette Venus Embrace razor, after using misc. coupons on these items I will make about $4.00 profit off my purchases too. If you shop at King Soopers (Kroger stores) they started paying you to bring in your own bags so for each bag you bring in rather than using one of theirs they pay you $.05 so I bought a couple of items there and used just one big bag but made my $.05. Hope you all had a nice week too!

On the restaurant side of freebie life I picked up a couple of the free McDonalds breakfast burrito's and a few Free Chick-fil-a cinnamon clusters and to close out the week I went to a free expo/fair with the kids where we got a Free Barbie Mariposa DVD (they had to hula hoop against each other to win and since nobody can do that they danced to win a movie of their choice), a bunch of flower seed packets which will be nice for my planters, the usual balls, crayons, trinkets and things and a couple of vouchers for free kids meals at Mimi's Cafe.

What did you get this week?
My week started off slow but ended very nicely. This week I received a Quaker Granola bar (it's just a 1/2 size bar but that's ok), a small bag of Dunkin Donuts Coffee, sample box of Curves Cereal and several free coupons which I redeemed; 6 pack of Yoplait yogurt drinks, bag of Idahoan instant mashed Potatoes and there were a few free coupons I was able to print up and redeem; bag of Flat Earth chips (yes another one), box of Honey Bunches of Oats cereal (I shopped at Target and they didn't have the chocolate one so I got the strawberry kind, it was $2.24 so I paid the $.24, still not bad for a box of cereal). I also lucked out at Costco this week as they had cat food on demo so they gave me a bag of Purina healthful life cat food. I also received another one of my free magazine subscriptions, this one was actually in my mailbox this week too.

What did you get this week?
A slow week here although it certainly felt a little crazy. I enjoyed my free Ihop pancakes with some friends and also got my free Chipotle burrito which was delicious and got me out of cooking on Valentine's day. I picked up a free Gillette fusion phenom razor for my hubby which he's always happy about, there were a couple of other rebate items I would have liked but I didn't act fast enough so they were all sold out..oh well, better luck next time. No mail freebies this week (other than my free magazine subscriptions) so hopefully my mailman will be happy although I found some of my mail lying on the ground next to the mailbox so who knows. I redeemed a coupon for a free popcorn and one for a free soda at the movies and we lucked out by getting a free appetizer at Olive Garden as they messed up our order so that was a nice little extra.

Pretty nice week for me I got a Huggies diaper in the mail, used the coupon for the free bag of Flat earth Chips which I made $1 on as the coupon rang it for $2.99 eventhough it was on sale for $1.99, I took my eldest to a free Karate class, Picked up a free Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich and got several good free rebate items; 2 full size Spa softsoap body wash bottles and 2 full size 24/7 deodorants which I made another $.75 on thanks to using a coupon in combination with the rebate. Hubby's all stocked up on deodorant again for a while now. Hope you have managed to get some good freebies too!

What did you get this week?
Another slow mail week for me I got the South beach living snack and drink and the Cottonelle flushable wipes. I redeemed a coupon for a free slice of pie at Burger King which was a nice little surprise for hubby. I got a bunch of stuff which will end up free after the rebates which made it a great week for me; 2 full size Garnier Fructis shampoos, 2 full size Garnier Fructis conditioners, 3 sticks of 24/7 Speedstick deodorant, 2 Maybeline lip glosses and 2 full size Orajel mouth rinse bottles. Some of the rebate items I will actually make money on as I combined them with coupons which doesn't effect the rebate so I will make an extra $2 off the deal, I love to make money off my shopping :)

What did you get this week?
Kind of a slow week for me, my mail man must be happy. I received some Dove shampoo, Friskies cat food, Head and shoulders shampoo and a Huggies diaper. I also got a couple of rebate checks but I consider those items free when I purchase them so that doesn't really count. I did "buy" a few things this week either on rebate or with free coupons so now have a free single serving of Spam (the stuff you eat not the kind you hate in your e-mail), 2 packages of Lansinoh baby wipes and some Flu/cold medicine. There are several rebate items I have my eye on for this week so hopefully I'll have better luck this next week.
